Block and Tackle : Two students from the Henchman stream who repeatedly bully the Alphas.
Franz Argentblum : Amazing at hiding money. German.
Laura Brand : Otto's friend. Very clever with computers. Scottish.
Lucy Dexter : Otto's friend who can control people's minds.
Nigel Darkdoom : A student at H.I.V.E. who is good at biotech. English.
Otto Malpense : The main character, who has a computer embeded in his head. English.
Shelby Trinity : Otto's friend. A very good thief. aka The WraithAmerican.
Wing Fanchu : Otto's best friend. Very good at martial arts. Asian.

Colonel Francisco : Head of Tactical Education. Very strong and likes exercise.
Dr Nero : The headmaster of H.I.V.E and is also a member of G.L.O.V.E.
H.I.V.E.mind : The school's super-computer. He is so advanced that he can think for himself.
Ms Gonzales : Head of Biotechnology (growing huge plants).
Ms Leon : Head of Stealth and Evasion. Is currently a cat, because of Professor Pike.
Professor Pike : Head of Science and Technology. A very clever scientist.

Cypher : Tries to destroy H.I.V.E. because he thinks they are trying to bring Overlord back. Is Wing's dad.
Diabolus Darkdoom : A legendary villain, and Nigel Darkdoom's dad.
Dr Creed : Sebastian Trent's (the leader of H.O.P.E.) scientist. He briefly becomes the Overlord.
Ghost : Sebastian Trent's (the leader of H.O.P.E.) assassin.
Number One : The head of G.L.O.V.E, who is actually the Overlord.
Overlord : An evil super-computer that wants to kill everything in the world.

H.I.V.E Books :

H.I.V.E. (Higher Institute of Villainous Education) :

Otto Malpense has been kidnapped and sent to the Higher Institute of Villainous Education, and has to stay there for the next six years of his life. He doesn't want to stay there, so he tries to escape with Wing, Laura and Shelby. But the get caught just as they were about to escape. But suddenly, a huge monster plant (that Nigel created) is smashing the school to pieces. Otto and his friends must save the school, before it is too late.

Overlord Protocol :

Otto Malpense is just settling into his new school, when Wing's dad dies, and he is able to leave the school with Wing and go to his funeral. But their enemy, called Cypher, find them and kidnaps Wing.
Then Cypher goes to H.I.V.E. and tries to murder everyone there because he thinks that they are trying to bring the Overlord back (an evil super-computer that wants to kill everything in the world) using a plan called Overlord Protocol. Otto and his friends must find Wing and stop Cypher before he destroys their school.

Escape Velocity :

Dr Nero is kidnapped by H.O.P.E. (an anti-terrorist organization, which is actually run by Overlord). Otto, his friends, and Diabolus Darkdoom go to save him, but are also captured by H.O.P.E. Otto and Nero are taken to see the Overlord, in his home in space. But to get there, they must be shot up into space (in a rocket called Escape Velocity). They meet Overlord, and find out that Otto is actually Overlord's clone, and Overlord must take over Otto's body to live properly again. Overlord tries to kill them, but H.I.V.E.mind gives his life to save them, and kills Overlord. But a apart of Overlord is stored inside Otto's body, so he is not properly killed.

Dreadnought :

Otto and his friends are on their way to a training mission, and they briefly visit the Dreadnought, a new mobile command centre for G.L.O.V.E. However, their training mission is cancelled when the Dreadnought comes under attack from a H.O.P.E. Nero, Raven and the students narrowly escape, but Diabolus Darkdoom is left behind and enemy agents are sent after them. They attempt to rescue Diabolus and they stop the plan to use American weaponry, controlled by Air Force One, to set off a super volcano and destroy all the world. They rescue Darkdoom, but Otto must stay behind on an out-of-control Air Force One to disarm the weapon to set off a super volcano. Otto disarms the weapon, but he passes out after narrowly averting a plane crash, leaving him in the custody of the U.S. Government.

Rogue :

Sebastian Trent (the leader of H.O.P.E.) as got Otto under his control using Animus, which makes Otto do whatever they want. But at the same time, Overlord is growing inside Otto's body, and if someone doesn't get him out soon, then he will take over Otto's body and destroy the world.

At the same time, G.L.O.V.E and H.I.V.E. think that Otto has gone mad (or Rogue) so send assassins to go and kill him. Cypher realizes that Overlord is growing inside Otto's body, so he also goes to kill Otto. Laura and Shelby follow him and try and stop him. Wing and Raven are also to find Otto.

They all meet at Sebastian Trent's base camp and he has still got Otto under his control. Cypher tries to kill Otto, but Wing kills Cypher first. Then Otto forces Overlord out of his body, but doesn't realize that Overlord has gone into Sebastian Trent's body. Sebastian Trent dies because he is too weak to hold Overlord. Overlord keeps jumping in and out of people's bodies, and tries to find Otto.

Zero Hour :

Overlord has developed the power to move from body to body. Otto, his friends, Nero and Darkdoom must call into action their final effort - a plan called Zero hour, in a desperate attempt to stop Overlord from taking over the world.
