Sometimes car dies on you when backing out of driveway just giving it a little gas also when stppoed at stop signs or traffic signals?
would be nice to know what kind of cars. mid 80s to early 90's GM cars had problems with lock-up torque converter not unlocking. kills the motor every time you stop for a traffic light. unplug the torque converter in front of transmission and see if it still stops. the cheapy built Grand Am's and Somerset Buicks were the worst.
