What would cause the motor on a 2001 Chevy blazer to shake really bad and then not idel and the exhaust smell really bad?
it might not be fingering properly and burning the fuel or it could be running to rich try adjusting the carb
That vehicle is fuel injected, there is no carb to adjust. If the engine got wet the plugs, wires and distributor cap may be just wet and the engine is misfiring. If it did not get wet, start with changing the fuel filter and doing a fuel pressure test. Be sure that no vacuum lines are disconnected.
