I received an offer letter for employment dated 18 August. The last line of the offer letter stated "This offer expires 15 days from the date of this letter." I signed and returned the offer letter this afternoon (29 August) at 2:30 and received an email at 4:30 stating that becuase they had not heard from me, they chose another candidate. Are they obligated to hire me?
