I live in VA and recently had surgery and of course my insurance did't cover much of it. This was in May and I have been making payments of $50 a month since I got the first bill. This week I received a letter from the surgi center stating that I had to pay in full or further collection actions would be taken against me..I have not received any phones for them, and this is the first letter I have gotten. Nor have I signed any thing stating how much I would or could pay a month. Can they do this in the state of VA.
