Question

My mother is 95 yr. old and in relatively good health. I am concerned about the future settlement of her estate. She established a revocable trust several years ago - and all of her assets were incorporated in the trust. She owns no real estate and the total value of her assets is approx. $130,000. Do I need to worry about Indiana probate?

Answer

Probate is nothing to worry about. It's simply the process, which is very simple, by which estates are handled in Indiana. As to how complicated your mother's estate will be depends upon the provisions of her trust.
