Hospital sent me a bill of 88865. I have insrance but just realized I forgot to pre-cert. What does this mean?

I would make two contacts immediately......the billing office at the hospital, and your insurance agent. It may take several calls, but sooner or later you should be able to track down the individuals who can correct the problem for you. If not, contact the state insurance commissioner's office.
