What would you have to have done to be charged with battery by the law?
You don't say what country you're in but in England 'battery' is an actually physical attack on someone such as hitting or kicking them, as opposed to just pushing them or grabbing them which might just be assault.Any contact to a person or something that is part of the person (their clothes, a chair or car they are sitting in, their pet on a leash, etc.) is considered a battery.
