I live in New York State, Onondaga County. I am the non-custodial parent. I have a child who is 18-years-old. The child dropped out of college and moved home with his mother who also lives in onondaga county. The child has two part time jobs. Do I still have to pay child support?
Answer
Even with two part time jobs, if the child is not deemed emancipated, under New York law you would have to pay child support until the age of 21 years.
