citizenship
Hi. I have a green card for 3 years now. From what I know I can't apply for citizenship for another 2 years. However my entire family are citizens. I was over 18 when they got it... Does this allow me to apply earlier? If yes, when?

Re: citizenship
No, it does not. You're allowed to naturalize after only three years if you've been married to a U.S. citizen for at least three years(who has been a citizen for at least three years), and you yourself have been in continuous residence for three years without any trips outside the United States lasting six months or more.
There are no other exceptions to the five year rule that I'm aware of which allow for faster naturalization.
