Is it true that the name Leonardo da vinci is constracted from the word draconian devil?
No. Leonardo's birth name was Lionardo di ser Piero da Vinci. Hewas the son of Messer (Knight) Piero Fruosino di Antonio da Vinciand he was from the city of Vinci. So his name literally meansLeonardo, (son) of Sir Piero of Vinci.

It's just a coinicidence that draconian devil is an anagram ofLeonardo da Vinci. However, in the book The Davinci Code,Dan Brown used the anagram "draconian devil" as a clue pointing theinvestigators to Leonardo Da Vinici.
