Is it healthy to talk to yourself?
It depends, if you are talking to yourself as if you were in a conversation, than it may be a little strange, but if you are reminding yourself to go buy milk or bread, then it's completely normal. I am no therapist, but this is my opinion.
Practically everyone talks to themselves. Most people don't talk to themselves out loud, in company, because this is unsettling to others around them. It isn't immediately unhealthy to you, but will possibly become so when people start edging away when they see you coming.
If you find you tend to talk out loud to yourself when other people are around to hear you it would be polite to just talk in your own head: silently.
Talking aloud to oneself is known as soliloquizing. A speech made out loud, to oneself, is called a soliloquy. This kind of speech is used in drama, when a character discusses a situation aloud, with themselves, in the course of a play or movie.
