If a doctor writes 2 perscriptions instead of one by mistake is it legal to fill the second one a month later even though they both have the same dates on them?
Answer
Yes. Reason is because you had knowledge that the second one is illegal if you filled it. Tear up the second scrip if you haven't already, or else you could be charged with a different felony: being possession of an illegal prescription.
