My husband left me a few weeks ago to move to Florida with his new Fiancee who is now pregnant. I live in NC is there anyway I can file for divorce or abandonment without waiting a whole year. We have been married 11/2 years and yes we consummated the marriage. One other thing he received his green card through marriage

It may not seem fair but you have to have one year of physical separation in order to file for divorce in North Carolina.
