6 years ago a relative of mine offered to pay a part of my college tuition. I asked him before he paid if it was going to be a loan and he said no because if it was a loan i would have to sign a repayment plan and a written contract. I never heard anything else about this matter until a few months ago when he sent me photocopied checks with the word loan written on them which he paid at that time and he is now suing me for non-repayment of the loan. We had a argument before he sent me the checks after which he sued me. i have never seen the checks before nor had he told me I had a loan before until we argued now suddenly its a loan.
