Question

I got a written employment offer, including details of salary and benefits, from a large company. The job requires relocation to a different state. However, they said that they do not provide contracts to their employees. Is this a common practice? The employer is a large and respectable employer, but I want to make sure this is not a kind of a "red flag." I don't want to relocate and then find out that the line no longer exists or something like this.

Answer

You don't state a legal question. Absent a contract, you'll have to decide whether to take the risk.
