Question

My daughter rented an apartment from a woman. She signed a contract with the woman. The woman then hired A Mgmt Co. and they had my daughter sign a contract under them. The woman then sold the apartments to an Apartment Co. The Apartment Co. fired the Mgmt Co but did not ask for a new contract from my daughter. Is she liable if she moves before the contract is up that was with the Mgmt Co.

Answer

The Apartment Co. is probably the successor in interest to the lease, and therefore the lease is (probably) still binding on your dauther. Read the lease and see what it says about successors in interest.
