You know a guy and his friend told you that he wants to know if you like him and it just so happens you do and you have not told anyone now what do you do?
Just tell them you would like to speak to the person themselves, then see how the person treats you. If you feel you can trust this person tell them about your feelings for them, if not just say you're not interested.
