Question

How do I subpoena telephone calls made in jail? It is my case however I wish to do this without an attorney. Where do I get a subpoena and who signs it, and can i do it on my own and does it have to be for a criminal case or is it okay if it is for a related civil case stemming from that still open criminal case?

Answer

You can get a blank subpoena (with the printed signature of the clerk) from the court clerk's office. Subpoenaing records from a law enforcement agency will set you back $150, which, since you don't have an attorney, is more wasted money in addition to the court filing fee and the court costs you will have to pay when you lose.

Answer

Why would you want to subpoena phone records from calls you made while in jail? All they would show would be the numbers called. Don't you remember who you called while in jail?
