Question

in the temporary orders of my divorce child support was set at 340.00 .because my ex was on his way to prison for 5 years the final divorce did not order child support at that time,But put in a" survivsl of judgment order "that states that the Temporary Orders shall survive the judgemnet in the cause for enforcement of child support. CAN YOU TELL ME WWHAT THIS MEANS?

Answer

It means that any and all provisions in the Temporary Orders regarding child support are still in effect, and can be used to enforce child support at the appropriate time. Your attorney or the Attorney General will require both orders to file to collect what is owed to you. Good luck.
