My car impounded by the police dept at their station. It never went to the wrecker lot. I got the car back from the police. The next day I got a letter from a wrecker company saying I owed them 269.05. I had called this company few days before they said they did not have my car. They now say they were the wrecker that towed the car to the police station. Am I responsible for the towing fee as the owner of the car
