Would you please try to find what happened to the Holloway Sucker that was about 2 inches square and caramel that I used to get every time I went to the Strand theater in West monroe La in 1935?

Holloway was bought out by Clark Bar, who then sold it to the Gilliam Candy Co., which sold it to the Sophie Mae Candy Co. In 2004 Sophie Mae became part of the Georgia Nut Co. They still put out a version of the caramel sucker called the Slo Poke delicious caramel pop. It is no longer square, but is rectangular like a Sugar Daddy. The Victoryseed Co. (victoryseeds.net) can mail order them.
