Question

I co-signed a contract for a mortgage - the relationship has gone South - can I legally get my signature revoked so as to not damage my credit scores??

Answer

No. The mortgage company or bank would have to agree to this, and they hardly ever will.

Answer

You are out of luck unless the former significant partner can and will refinance under his or here own name.
