dont have an attorny at my next court date? if i want one present can i ask that nothing be discust until i have a new lawyer

Without more, it is hard to answer. How long have you not had an atty. Is there any emergency situation where the court might need to decide something? If the answer is no, the court may well give you more time to hire an atty.
